YOU ASK: “How much does it cost?”
That really depends on the work involved. Photo enhancement can be very involved and time consuming, so we need to know what you would like us to do to your photo before we can give you a price. Having said that, most jobs cost in the region of $50 to $200 per image for the enhancement work (that’s US dollars).

YOU ASK: “So how do we agree a price?”
First, you need to email a low-res image of the photo to images@kadianimageworks.com and tell us what you would like us to do to it. We’ll assess the project and give you a quote. We can do all of this by email. If you’re happy with the quote, then you can go ahead and place the order.

YOU ASK: “What method of payment?”
You can pay us via my Paypal account. Paypal is one of the most used and trusted payment methods on the internet, and is also the default payment method for ‘ebay’ one of the world’s largest websites. Any details you give to Paypal will be completely confidential - we won’t even see your credit card details.

YOU ASK: “What if we don’t have a credit/debit card?”
You can use e-check with Paypal, if you live in a country where it is supported (US and a few others). We can take checks or money orders, and if you’re willing to risk it, we’ll accept cash in a brown envelope. A trade for land in Montana is also an option!

YOU ASK: “How do we get the photo to you?”
We need a digital copy of your photo in order to work on it. If it’s a ‘physical’ printed photo, not from a digital camera, please make sure the photo is scanned at a high resolution (300dpi or more), especially if you want us to crop it down or blow up some aspect of the image. Save the image as a jpeg at high quality. Then you simply need to email us the image file to images@kadianimageworks.com.

YOU ASK: “We have no scanner, can we send you a physical photo?”
Almost all photo developing shops, and internet cafes, will be able to scan your photo for you, and give it to you on a disk, or perhaps even email it to us on your behalf. Just make sure you ask them to scan it as a high ‘resolution’ JPG (minimum 300dpi). Or, you can send the photo to us and we can scan if for you. Our scan charge is $50.

YOU ASK: “Is the resolution really so important?”
YES! Especially if you want us to crop your photo, or do any detailed work. The higher the resolution the better. Also, if you want a ‘hard copy’ of your photo printing on kodak photo paper, then again, the higher the resolution, the better the image quality will be when printed. If your image is too low resolution, it will not print very well onto paper, especially the larger print sizes.
WEB images are at 72dpi and most PRINT files are at a minimum of 300dpi. Less information is needed for an image to work on a monitor but you need the higher resolution to print - more information per inch of printed paper for a crisp and strong image.

YOU ASK: “How long will it take?”
That depends upon how much work we have on at the time. Usually, it won’t take longer than 7-10 days, but if you need the job done in a hurry, just ask us. We’ve completed projects in just 24 hours, from first contact to final delivery. Of course, there may be a little extra charge for ‘rush jobs’.

YOU ASK: “What happens when you’ve completed the work?”
When we’ve finished enhancing the photo, we’ll email a lo-res copy to you. If you are satisfied with the work, we’ll send you the full sized version. If you’re not happy, you can tell us what’s not to your liking, and we’ll try to fix it. If we can’t make you happy, we’ll refund your money. Satisfaction is quaranteed.

YOU ASK: “I’m not sure what I’d like done, I just want it to look good. Can we leave it up to you?”
YES ... this is my favorite kind of job, we love to be given free reign to create interesting photos.
